FAQ

TRAVEL & TRANSPORTATION

What is the closest airport?
The closest airport is Eagle County Airport (EGE), located about 30 minutes from Beaver Creek. Denver International Airport (DIA) is about a two hour drive.

Do I need to rent a car?
Because everything is a bit more spread out in the mountains, we recommend renting a car to make getting around easier. Ride share services like Uber and Lyft are available but are less prevalent than in larger cities.

Will transportation be provided to the wedding?
Yes. Because the venue is located on Beaver Creek Mountain, shuttle transportation will run between the base of the Beaver Creek Gondola and the venue. Guests will need to make their way to Beaver Creek Village for shuttle pickup. If driving, please plan to park in the Villa Montane Parking Structure or the Ford Hall Parking Structure in Beaver Creek Village, then make your way to the base of the Beaver Creek Gondola. Additional details and timing will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.

How do I get around Beaver Creek Village?
If you are staying in Beaver Creek there is a free on demand shuttle service operating daily from 7am to midnight. Download the Village Connect app to request rides within the resort.

The ceremony will take place outdoors, and evenings in Beaver Creek can be cool, so we recommend bringing a jacket or wrap.

What will the weather be like?
September in Beaver Creek is typically crisp and beautiful. Daytime temperatures are often in the 60s and 70s, with cooler evenings in the 40s and 50s. We recommend keeping an eye on the forecast as the date approaches, as mountain weather can change quickly. Snow is not unheard of this time of year!

Any tips for adjusting to the altitude?
Beaver Creek sits 8,000 feet above sea level, so guests traveling from lower elevations may notice the altitude. We recommend staying well hydrated, limiting alcohol your first day, and giving yourself a little time to acclimate. Drinking plenty of water throughout the weekend will help you feel your best while enjoying the festivities.

Are children invited?
We love your little ones, but our celebration will be limited to our nieces and nephews.
